Gina excited to be part of the dance family at The Studio. She is going into her fifth season teaching. Gina is trained in Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop. She perused dance at the age of 14. In her younger years, she was on her high school dance team and was Captain senior year. The team won many awards at UDA
Regional and other dance competitions. She was selected to audition for UDA instructor.
Gina was a member at the YMCA, teaching kids dance and cheer. Also, she danced in
productions with the Tampa Bay Rays, performed at local charity events, local concerts,and for Tony Little’s TV segments. After focusing on college and graduating with Bachelors in Marketing, she was eager to get back to dance. Gina was selected to perform as a promotional dancer in the Step Up Revolution film. Gina was among a select group of Studio Dancers that worked with Stephen “Twitch” Boss and Nolan Padilla to prepare for a performance on NBC’s Daytime Morning Show. She choreographed for the Robinson High School’s senior production and has worked with other bay area students in musical theatre performances.
This is Gina’s first season being selected to choreographer for the Studio’s competition technical team. Gina continues her training in dance, by taking several master classes. She is always willing to challenge herself in new genres of dance and attends various dance conventions throughout the dance season. Gina attends teacher workshops under the direction of Denise Wall, Ray Leeper, and other professional choreographers/teachers.
Gina is ready to offer her eclectic dance style to all and wants to encourage students to express their love, passion, and emotions in dance from sole to soul.
