Ms. Miranda Heitz has been teaching all ages of dancers in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theater and Hip Hop for the past 20 years. She was a dance major at Ball State University with a focus on Choreography. She received her training from many schools including the Fort Wayne Ballet and The Ft. Wayne Dance Collective for Modern dance in Indiana before moving to Florida ten years ago. She also obtained her Royal Academy of Dance certificate and was awarded “Highly Commended” on her ballet exams. She has performed rolls in The Tampa Ballet Theater as “The Queen of Hearts” in Alice in Wonderland, “Carabosse” in The Sleeping Beauty, and “The Rat King” in the Nutcracker to name a few. She also recently performed as a guest artist as the “Evil Stepmother” in Brandon Ballet’s Hansel and Gretel. She has trained award winning dancers and aerialists in both the professional and competitive levels and is also a trained stilt walker in her free time! She is a teacher first and foremost and believes in giving her students a great environment to learn in, her classes being fun, educational and inspiring.
